“Every situation in life is temporary.”

It could be a lot challenging to find the best self-help books because the options are
abundant. Like a bomb!

Above all, 95% of those books are mediocre, or you can say worthless.

However, self-improvement has helped me a lot in my life. There was a point in my life
when I found myself lost, but reading a bunch of worthful books on self-help has helped me
a lot in improving my thoughts and overall of myself. It’s simple, self-improvement, when
done super right, is a key to getting everything or anything you want.

But it’s important to stop yourself from slipping into ‘mental masturbation,’ means, you
shouldn’t read those books for the sake of consuming self-help or productivity content, but
treat those as a solution for you, understand the meanings, because only this way you can
spin your wheels.

The best self-help books are those who push you for doing something good, something
productive, and meaningful. There are some books which have played a crucial role in
whatever I am today. These books have helped me a lot in altering my thinking patterns and
helped to change my vision of life.

So today, in this article, I am going to share my 5 favorite books on self-help, how these
have aided me in changing my life.

1. The 100 Side Hustles

The 100 Side Hustles by Chris Guillebeau is an amazing book, which contains a collection of
top 100 side hustles ideas from both his podcast and personal files, including, website
founders, jewelery makers, bakers, and much more.
With inspiring stories and bullet-point takeaways, this book will not only inspire you to
follow the footsteps of successful entrepreneurs. Moreover, this book helps you in
identifying the underserved market and using your passions for earning. Soon you would be

more than one source of income.

2. Secret of Millionaire Mindset

This is the masterpiece by T. Harv Eker, in which he has emphasized on identifying and
revising your money blueprint to increase income. Using the principles written in the book,
you can move from nothing to milllionarie in almost 2½ years. The main idea is to use your
tool box (brain), with the outer game (the tools) to get rich in days.
All the ideas shared in this book are meant to be applied. The writer has an amazing guide
for people to keep what works and throw away what doesn’t. All you need is to let go of the
old thinking patterns and adapt the latest ways to achieve your goals.

3. Rich dad poor Dad

This book is all about Robert Kiyosaki and his two dads, his real one (poor dad), and the
second one (rich dad). This book defines how both men helped him shaped his thoughts
about money and investment.
According to Robert, you don’t need to have income to become rich. Rich people know how
to make money work for them.
Rich Dad Poor Dad helps in identifying the difference between poor and being broken. I
learnt from this book that broke is temporary, but poor is eternal. This book guides about
cash flow, and let you understand the difference between assets and liability.
Those who know the skill to spend time wisely are the ones who are rich. This book has
helped me a lot in understanding the power of intellectual when it comes to money.
Admittedly, this is by far the best book when it comes to clearing doubts about being poor
and living a poor life.

4. 4 Hour Work Week

This fantastic book is the step-by-step blueprint to let yourself free from the chains of
grinding corporate job. You need to create a business to supply the lifestyle of your dreams
and live like a millionaire. I have learnt 3 most effective lessons from this book.  1st lesson is to be effective, not efficient. This is the most important aspect to pay
attention to. You need to be innovative and should measure productivity with your
sales, rather than the time you spent working.  The second lesson is always to validate business ideas. You always need to make
sure whatever business you are going to build or product you are going to spend,
make sure people give money for it.  The third lesson is to charge a premium amount to have fewer clients and make your
life easier.

5. The Happiness Equation

The Happiness Equation by Neil reveals the top 9 scientifically back secrets to happiness to
hep people knowing that by wanting nothing and so doing anything, you can actually have
anything you need. One of his lessons is that Ikigai is better than retirement. Means reason for waking up early
in the morning is beneficial to health in old age. However, the second lesson is to take the
Saturday morning test. You can do whatever you want to do on Saturday without obligation.
While the third lesson by Neil is not to listen to everyone’s advise.
Our life is full of contradictions and confusions. We get at every step of our life, but to have
a clear vision, it’s not necessary to take every advise seriously. This book has a lot to offer to
anybody who wants to change the equation of their current happiness.
These are some of the top amazing favorite books on self-help which have helped me a lot
